Day By Day Itinerary
Day 1 | International Arrival – Nairobi- Samburu
On arrival at the airport, you’ll be greeted by our driver and transferred to Wilson Airport for your 1½-hour light-aircraft flight to Samburu. From Buffalo springs, your safari guide will take you on a leisurely 45-minute game drive to the camp. Check into your luxury tent and have some leisure time before a delicious lunch in the camp’s dining area. Proceed for a Safari Game drive late afternoon typically 4.00pm during which you explore the surrounding parts of the Samburu and see its amazing wildlife. Return to the camp by evening in time for dinner.

Day 2 | Samburu National Reserve
Today you have an early rise for your morning game drive during which you will see more of the Samburu’s wildlife. Early morning, and late afternoon are considered the best times to spot animals at their most active.
Return to the camp for a relaxed breakfast – rest of the morning at leisure. The camp has a swimming pool that allows you to unwind.After the sumptuous lunch, take a late afternoon safari game drive before returning to the camp in time for a relaxed evening which may be enlivened by entertainment provided by the camp, followed by dinner.
Game walks, led by two armed rangers and a guide, can also be arranged for an additional cost- but these are best booked in advance. It is also possible to book a private sundowner, which is an extra cost but includes nibbles and drinks. Bush dinners and breakfast are a fun way of dining al fresco but these also cost extra and arranged upon request.

Day 3 | Samburu- Nairobi
Enjoy an early morning game drive before breakfast. Return to the camp in time for a quick breakfast and proceed to check out. You now bid Farewell to Samburu – as you will be transferred to the nearby airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, we’ll have our driver-guide waiting for you at the Wilson Airport for onward transfer to your hotel or to the International airport.
